Organisers hope the activities will encourage children to look more closely at their surroundings and develop an appreciation of the artistic and architectural heritage that shapes Monaco’s identity. Additional workshops, including mural painting and ceramics, will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays, offering younger participants opportunities to experiment with different creative techniques.
At an age when young minds are particularly receptive to new experiences, opportunities to discover art and culture are especially valuable. In an increasingly digital world, where screens compete constantly for children’s attention, initiatives such as these offer a welcome alternative, encouraging curiosity, creativity and imagination whilst introducing a new generation to the cultural heritage that surrounds them.
The Memory of Places exhibition remains open until January 24, providing families with an opportunity to discover Monaco’s cultural heritage together.
