The future of robotics and artificial intelligence will take centre stage in Monaco next summer, with the Principality preparing to host its first international robotics and Physical AI summit, bringing together technology companies, industrial leaders and investors from around the world.

The inaugural Monaco Robot Show 2027 will take place in Monte Carlo on June 9 and 10, immediately following the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix. Organisers expect more than 2,000 attendees for the event, which will operate under the theme “Robots Enter Our Lives”.

The summit aims to connect international robotics manufacturers and artificial intelligence specialists with European businesses, policymakers and investors, focusing on how emerging technologies can move beyond research laboratories and become part of everyday commercial and industrial operations.

Seven principal areas will shape the programme, including humanoid robotics, industrial automation, autonomous mobility, logistics, service robots, robotics infrastructure and investment. Applications across healthcare, elderly care, education, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, yachting and retail are also expected to feature prominently.

Among the companies identified as part of the event’s international industry network are NVIDIA, Microsoft, Boston Dynamics, Unitree Robotics, AgiBot and BMW Group, representing developments in areas ranging from AI computing and humanoid machines to industrial automation.

One of the more unusual attractions will be the planned Monaco Robot Games, featuring demonstrations and competitions involving robot football, running, dancing and chess. These activities are intended to showcase advances in robotic movement, independent decision-making and interaction between humans and machines.

The event will also extend beyond traditional conference sessions, with demonstrations and discussions exploring how robotics could operate in different environments, including factories, sports facilities, yachts, hotels and even Monaco’s Formula 1 circuit.

A dedicated Monaco Robot Awards programme will recognise innovation across nine categories, covering humanoid machines, industrial and logistics robotics, autonomous driving, artificial intelligence models and emerging technology companies.

The organisers also intend to use Monaco’s established business and luxury sectors to encourage partnerships between technology developers and local institutions. Organisations identified as potential participants include SBM Group, Yacht Club de Monaco, AS Monaco, Monaco Economic Board and MonacoTech.

The summit is being launched by the team behind WAIB Summit Monaco, which has already held two editions in the Principality. Its organisers say the new event will place greater emphasis on connecting technological innovation with commercial opportunities, international investment and European industrial development.

As part of its international expansion, Monaco Robot Show will also hold a Robotics Leadership Forum in Davos on January 19, 2027, during World Economic Forum week. The gathering is expected to bring together robotics executives, technology leaders, investors and policymakers ahead of the main Monaco event.

With robotics increasingly moving from digital applications into physical environments, the June summit aims to position Monaco as a meeting point for the companies, investors and decision-makers shaping the next generation of artificial intelligence and automation.
