Monaco Legend Group has concluded its autumn Exclusive Timepieces auction in Monte-Carlo with sales totalling €22.26 million and a remarkable 100 percent sell-through rate, as every lot found a buyer during the two-day event…
International collectors competed for rare vintage watches, with three timepieces exceeding €1 million. Leading the sale was a stainless-steel Rolex reference 6062 Triple Calendar Moonphase from the collection of renowned watch scholar John Goldberger, which achieved €1,858,000. Originally purchased in 1955, the watch had passed through just two owners in more than seven decades.
Two exceptional Patek Philippe watches followed, with a yellow-gold reference 2499/100 perpetual calendar chronograph selling for €1,424,000 and a reference 3974 minute repeater perpetual calendar achieving €1,144,000.

Strong results extended beyond Rolex and Patek Philippe. A rare Vacheron Constantin cloisonné enamel wristwatch depicting the Americas realised €702,000, while a distinctive Cartier London Parallélogramme fetched €318,500.
Monaco Legend Group co-chairmen Davide Parmegiani and Claude Cohen welcomed the results, highlighting international participation and collectors’ continued appreciation of rarity, originality and provenance.
The white-glove result reinforces Monte-Carlo’s position as an important destination for international watch auctions and demonstrates sustained demand for exceptional collectible timepieces across multiple manufacturers.
