The gathering brought together female parliamentarians from across the French-speaking world, providing opportunities to exchange experiences, strengthen leadership skills and encourage greater participation by women in political decision-making.
Representing 74 parliaments and interparliamentary organisations across five continents, the APF promotes democratic values, human rights, the rule of law and cultural diversity, while supporting the international influence of the French language.
Hugonnet-Grisoul, who also serves as an APF spokesperson, was recognised for her longstanding commitment to these objectives and her contribution to strengthening connections between French-speaking parliamentary institutions.
