Hollywood glamour returned to Monte-Carlo on Tuesday, October 13, as Bradley Cooper and Margot Robbie were spotted filming in Casino Square for the eagerly anticipated Ocean’s Eleven prequel…

The production is set to continue in Monaco-Ville later this month, bringing further excitement and some disruption to the Principality. As reported by Monaco-Matin, filming is scheduled on the Rock for October 16, 17, 22 and 23. Although the Prince’s Government has not officially identified the production, sources indicate that the scenes form part of Cooper’s forthcoming film, in which he stars alongside Robbie. Set during the 1960s, the story reportedly follows the parents of Danny Ocean, the character famously portrayed by George Clooney.

Monaco has already provided a spectacular backdrop for the production, with filming taking place around Port Hercule, Plage des Pêcheurs and the Formula 1 circuit. Vintage racing cars and hundreds of extras have helped recreate the atmosphere of a bygone Monaco Grand Prix.

The Government has warned that pedestrian access around Monaco-Ville and the Rampe Major may be temporarily adjusted, with some overnight noise expected. Officials have assured residents that disruption will be kept to a minimum wherever possible.
