The Monaco Red Cross will introduce a refreshed programme for its 77th annual Gala when the charity’s flagship fundraising event returns to the Sporting Monte-Carlo on Saturday, July 18.

Held under the patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II, President of the Monaco Red Cross, and Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene, Vice-President, the gala remains one of the Principality’s most prestigious charitable evenings, bringing together supporters, benefactors and international guests in aid of humanitarian projects carried out by the organisation.

While the traditional gala dinner, charity raffle and fireworks display will once again form the centrepiece of the evening, this year’s edition will feature several new elements. Guests will be the first to experience SOUL! Where Legends Come Back, a new live production created by Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, ahead of its wider public run later this season.

Following the main event in the Salle des Étoiles, celebrations will continue at Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo, which will be transformed for the occasion with a jazz-inspired atmosphere and live music.

The gala will also welcome two prominent figures from the international Red Cross movement: Kate Forbes and Caroline Cross, underlining Monaco’s role within the global humanitarian network.

Dinner will be created by three-Michelin-starred chef Marcel Ravin and prepared alongside Sporting Monte-Carlo Executive Chef Thierry Saez Manzanares and the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer culinary teams. Dessert will be designed by renowned pastry chef Cédric Grolet, while guests will also have the opportunity to participate in the evening’s traditional charity raffle.

This year’s gala will also continue the event’s long-standing artistic tradition through the donation of a contemporary artwork. Belgian sculptor Johan Creten will present Éloge de l’Espoir (“Praise of Hope”) to the Monaco Red Cross. The ceramic wall sculpture, incorporating the symbolic Red Cross emblem, is intended to reflect themes of resilience, solidarity and hope that closely align with the organisation’s humanitarian mission.

Founded in 1948 by Prince Louis II, the Monaco Red Cross has spent nearly eight decades providing humanitarian assistance both within the Principality and internationally. Since 1982, it has been led by Prince Albert II, continuing a tradition established by Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace before him.

Tickets for this year’s gala are priced at €1,900 per person, with proceeds supporting the Monaco Red Cross’s humanitarian programmes in Monaco and around the world.
