Access to Monaco’s Rainier III Nautical Stadium will be temporarily reorganised from August 23 to 29 as the Principality hosts another film shoot….
As reported by Monaco Matin, the swimming complex will remain open throughout, but from 3pm on Sunday, August 23, its usual Quai Albert-Ier entrance will close. Visitors will instead need to approach via Route de la Piscine and use the lift from the Louis-Chiron car park to reach the entrance above Le Nautic restaurant. The stairs will only be accessible before 10am and after 6pm, with signage in place to guide swimmers.
The Hercule Fitness Club will also remain open, although access will be exclusively from Route de la Piscine during filming.
The shoot comes during a particularly busy period for Monaco’s growing role as an international screen location. The Principality has recently welcomed filming for major productions including Netflix’s Emily in Paris, starring Lily Collins, while The White Lotus is among other high-profile productions linked to filming in Monaco this year.
With several major productions choosing Monaco this year, the Principality is enjoying a starring role of its own.
