His Serene Highness Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, accompanied by Crown Prince Jacques, Princess Gabriella and Princess Stéphanie, have officially inaugurated a new Monaco-themed area at Europa-Park, one of Europe’s most visited leisure destinations…

Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the Princely Family explored the park’s 18th themed district, which has welcomed visitors since March and offers an immersive journey through the Principality’s heritage, culture, innovation and sporting traditions.

Centred around the iconic Silver Star rollercoaster, now reimagined with a Monaco theme, the area features settings inspired by the Casino de Monte-Carlo, an immersive digital aquarium created with the Oceanographic Institute, exhibitions celebrating the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo, and Formula One driving simulators alongside vehicles from Prince Albert II’s personal collection.

The inauguration also celebrated the long-standing friendship between the Princely Family and the Mack family, founders of Europa-Park. Their relationship is built on shared values and a mutual passion for the circus arts, reflecting a tradition established in Monaco by Prince Rainier III through the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo.

The visit concluded with the unveiling of Place Grimaldi de Monaco, a permanent tribute to the Grimaldi dynasty that symbolises the enduring ties between Monaco and Europa-Park. Millions of visitors will now be able to experience the spirit of the Principality firsthand.
