Monaco’s support for entrepreneurship and innovation was in the spotlight on June 2, as Minister of State Christophe Mirmand and Minister of Finance and Economy Frédéric Cottalorda visited Monaco Boost and MonacoTech, two organisations at the heart of the Principality’s economic development strategy…

Hosted by Monaco Boost Managing Director Julien Dejanovic and MonacoTech Director Chloé Boscagli, the delegation met entrepreneurs and startup founders benefiting from the programmes and learned more about the projects currently being developed. The visit also provided an opportunity for direct exchanges with business creators, who shared their experiences, ambitions and the challenges of building companies in Monaco.

The two structures continue to deliver tangible results. Since opening in 2021, Monaco Boost has supported 95 businesses, primarily created by Monegasques and their spouses, while MonacoTech has accompanied 72 entrepreneurs since its launch in 2017. Together, they have become important drivers of innovation, business creation and economic diversification within the Principality.

The visit underscored the Government’s commitment to fostering a dynamic business environment and ensuring that talented entrepreneurs have access to the support needed to transform ideas into sustainable enterprises. Speaking during the visit, Christophe Mirmand praised the entrepreneurial spirit that characterises Monaco’s economy, stressing that innovation, creativity and talent development remain essential to strengthening the Principality’s attractiveness and international influence.
