Monaco will host its first Artificial Intelligence Film Festival on June 9 and 10 at One Monte-Carlo, bringing together creatives and technologists to explore the future of storytelling…
Scheduled just after the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the event aims to position the Principality at the forefront of innovation in film and digital art. The two-day programme will gather filmmakers, AI developers, digital artists, and academics for a series of screenings, discussions, and live creative challenges.
A central highlight will be a 24-hour AI film hackathon, where participants collaborate to produce original works using artificial intelligence tools. Outdoor screenings along the coastline will also offer a public-facing element, blending culture with Monaco’s distinctive setting.
The festival will conclude with the AI Film Awards, recognising standout projects across categories including best short film and best commercial film. Beyond competition, the event seeks to examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping creativity, from image generation to narrative development.
By hosting this inaugural festival, Monaco continues to strengthen its role as a hub for forward-thinking ideas, where technology, culture, and creativity intersect in meaningful and evolving ways.
