The German International Club went to Berlin to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the enthronement of Prince Albert II with the reception hosted by Monaco’s Ambassador, His Excellency Lorenzo Ravano

Many members of the German International Club of Monaco represented the Principality at the reception in the Ballroom of the Hotel Waldorf Astori. The Monegasque anthem was sung by Yuri Wetzel, a student at Charles III College, in front of more than 200 guests.

Lorenzo Ravano described the great progress made in these 20 years, at the European and international level, by a small Principality, whose vote has the same weight as the big nations in many international institutions.

The excursion ended with a tour on the Havel River, to discover the many castles built by the Hohenzollern during the time of the Prussian empire.

Finally, the trip ended with a lunch at the iconic Käfer restaurant, located directly on the roof of the Bundesreichstag (Parliament), allowing to directly discover the famous dome of the building, designed by the famous architect Sir Norman Foster, and which has become, since German reunification, one of the symbols of Berlin.
