A touch of Art Nouveau refinement has arrived in Monte-Carlo this summer, as Square Beaumarchais in front of the Hôtel Hermitage transforms into the “Belle Époque Garden”…

The elegant new space is the result of a seasonal collaboration between the Société des Bains de Mer and renowned Champagne house Perrier-Jouët, both of which trace their origins to the Belle Époque era. The result is a harmonious fusion of history, design, and gastronomy, offering guests a refined outdoor retreat to enjoy the summer months in true Monaco style.

Paying tribute to their shared artistic heritage, the garden’s décor features naturalistic flourishes and curated artworks, including iconic pieces from Perrier-Jouët’s collection such as Théo Bone’s “Tree of Flutes” for champagne tasting, and eco-themed installations by Fantasmagorik. The wrought-iron structures evoke the graceful dome of the Hôtel Hermitage itself, grounding the garden in Monaco’s architectural DNA while inviting visitors into an immersive and leafy oasis.

At its heart, the garden is a champagne bar celebrating the spirit of the house of Perrier-Jouët, with Grand Brut, Blanc de Blancs, and the 2015 Belle Époque cuvée all on offer. The menu also features fine wines, such as Château Sainte Marguerite, and exclusive cocktails like the Perrier-Jouët Spritz and Italicus Spritz, thanks to the brand’s partnership with the Pernod Ricard group.

Combining style, substance, and seasonal sparkle, the Belle Époque Garden at Square Beaumarchais reflects the Principality’s timeless ability to reinvent elegance. Whether for a spontaneous drink or a curated tasting, it’s a new summer destination for locals and visitors alike—where champagne culture and Monaco’s glamorous spirit meet beneath the Riviera sun.
