Monaco’s commitment to public health and civic responsibility took centre stage at the Rainier III Auditorium on Monday, April 7, where 1,331 newly qualified first aiders were formally recognised for completing their training in 2024. The ceremony, a longstanding tradition, was held in the presence of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, who personally presented diplomas to the most outstanding recipients.
The event marked a symbolic high point in the Monaco Red Cross’s calendar, spotlighting the dedication of its volunteer force and their crucial role in emergency preparedness. Over the past year, the organisation delivered 514 training and awareness sessions, engaging more than 5,000 participants.
Free and open to all residents, the Red Cross’s training programmes have become a pillar of public health strategy in the Principality, preparing citizens to respond confidently and efficiently in critical situations.
