The Longines Pro-Am Cup returned to Monaco as part of the Longines Global Champions Tour stage in the Principality, blending elite show jumping with fundraising in support of AMADE, the international children’s charity founded by Princess Grace in 1963.
Now chaired by H.R.H. Princess Caroline of Hanover, AMADE has spent more than six decades backing programmes focused on the protection, education and development of vulnerable children worldwide.
Princess Caroline attended the event in Monaco, joined by her daughter Charlotte Casiraghi, an accomplished international show jumper and the driving force behind the creation of the Pro-Am Cup in 2010. Her continued presence gives the competition a personal link to both Monaco’s equestrian tradition and its charitable mission.
On the sporting side, victory went to Italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano, who competed in a father-daughter pairing with Lisa Gaudiano. Riding as part of Team Cavalleria Toscana, the duo delivered a winning performance in front of a packed Monaco crowd.
The Pro-Am Cup has become a distinctive feature of the Monaco leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, pairing professional riders with amateurs in a format designed to combine top-level sport with philanthropy, all in support of AMADE’s humanitarian work.
