Terry Tarpey has departed the Roca Team, with the experienced French guard signing for Betclic Elite rivals Paris Basketball ahead of next season.
The 31-year-old, born in 1994, spent time with the Roca Team and made contributions at the highest level of European club basketball, averaging 2.0 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in last season’s EuroLeague. Known for his defensive intensity and work rate, Tarpey was a reliable presence off the bench during his time in the Principality, most recently playing a role in the Roca Team’s run to the Betclic Elite finals — ironically against his new club.
Paris Basketball confirmed the signing, noting that Tarpey is expected to have more opportunities to showcase his talent with the French side.
The move marks the end of his chapter with Monaco as the Roca Team now look ahead to building their squad for the coming season.
