Oliver Rowland produced a masterclass in strategy and energy management to win Race 2 of the Monaco E-Prix double-header on Sunday, strengthening his bid to retain the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship title…
Starting from eighth on the grid, the Nissan driver steadily worked his way through a chaotic and constantly shifting field before making the decisive move for the lead at the Nouvelle Chicane on lap 23. The Briton remained calm through multiple Full Course Yellow interruptions to secure his second Monaco Formula E victory in two years.
Swiss driver Edoardo Mortara initially crossed the line in second for Mahindra Racing but was later handed a 10-second penalty for first-lap contact with António Félix da Costa, dropping him to fifth overall.

That promoted rookie Felipe Drugovich to second place and a maiden Formula E podium for Andretti, while da Costa recovered impressively from an opening-lap spin to complete the podium in third.
Championship leader Mitch Evans finished fourth after another strong drive for Jaguar, maintaining his advantage at the top of the standings heading into the next round in Sanya.
Elsewhere, polesitter Dan Ticktum endured another frustrating Monaco outing, finishing outside the points despite starting from pole position for both races of the weekend.
