Cap d’Ail claimed victory in the 3rd edition of the Ünseme Cup in La Turbie, with 2018 World Cup winner Paul Pogba on hand to present the trophy after a dramatic final against Beausoleil…

The match ended 2–2 in regulation time before Cap d’Ail held their nerve to win on penalties, securing their second title after 2024. The tournament brought together more than 100 young players aged 14 to 15 from neighbouring towns including Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Menton, Ventimiglia, Camporosso and Ospedaletti. All participating teams are part of the AS Monaco partnership programme, designed to promote football development and shared sporting values across the region.

Beyond the competition, the day focused on teamwork, enjoyment and learning, offering young players a valuable experience both on and off the pitch. For many, it was an opportunity to measure their progress and dream of one day reaching the professional level.

The final proved particularly intense, with Cap d’Ail coming from behind before sealing victory in the shootout. AS Monaco president Dmitry Rybolovlev oversaw the ceremony alongside Pogba, whose presence made the occasion even more memorable.

The French international took time to meet players and pose for photos, leaving a lasting impression on the next generation of football talent.
