One of Monaco’s most dazzling society events will make its Romanian debut this autumn, as the Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses stages a special “Monaco Meets Romania” edition at the Palace of Culture in lași on Saturday, September 6.
The gala, renowned for its opulent settings and guest list of aristocrats, celebrities, and high-profile entrepreneurs, will transform the landmark venue into a scene worthy of a royal fairytale. Attendees will include members of royal and princely houses from across the globe, prominent figures from Monaco’s elite, leading luxury brands, and international media.
Marking its tenth anniversary, the 2025 Grand Ball promises to be one of its most spectacular editions yet. Inspired by the lavish court gatherings of Louis XIV, the event will feature a regal ambience, elaborate décor, and a programme designed to capture the essence of Monaco’s refined social tradition. Guests will waltz under glittering chandeliers, immersed in a world of elegance and pageantry.
But beyond the finery, the Grand Ball has a diplomatic heart. Over the past decade it has evolved into a cultural bridge, promoting dialogue between nations and celebrating the shared heritage of aristocratic and artistic traditions. Its Iași edition will highlight Romania’s own royal history while showcasing Monaco’s role as a global symbol of style and prestige.
With tickets already on sale, anticipation is building for what promises to be a night where art, culture, and high society meet in one glittering celebration
