This year’s edition held particular significance, marking the 20th anniversary of Prince Albert II’s accession to the throne. In a heartfelt moment, HSH Princess Charlene, Vice-President of the Red Cross, took to the stage to pay tribute to her husband. Her moving speech praised the Prince’s leadership, courage, and dedication to Monaco, stating, “Albert, you know I will always be by your side… We love you, we support you, and we thank you for being there for all of us.”

Founded in 1948 by Prince Louis II, the Gala has long served as the flagship fundraising event for the Monegasque Red Cross. Today, under the presidency of Prince Albert II, the organisation continues to support both local social assistance programmes and international humanitarian relief. The Gala’s enduring success is a testament to Monaco’s commitment to compassion, solidarity, and generosity.

The evening unfolded with an elegant dinner by Chef Thierry Saez Manzanares and a prestigious tombola featuring prizes from renowned luxury houses. Fireworks lit up the Monaco sky before legendary British rocker Billy Idol delivered a powerful closing performance.
