Monaco is set to strike a chord once again this summer as its popular open-air concert series returns, offering a lively mix of music entirely free of charge. The initiative, a staple of the city’s cultural calendar, invites locals and tourists alike to enjoy warm evenings filled with live performances in two of the Principality’s most picturesque settings.
Concerts will take place at Square Gastaud in the heart of Monaco and at Place Anne-Marie Campora in Larvotto, overlooking the Mediterranean. The season kicks off on Wednesday, July 9 at Square Gastaud with a night of Gipsy, Rumba and Flamenco. Two weeks later, on Wednesday, July 23, the same square will come alive with Pop Rock, Dance and Soul. On Wednesday, August 6, audiences can expect a nostalgic journey through the French chansons of the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s.
At Larvotto, the first concert is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, featuring a special philharmonic performance by students from Île de la Réunion. The season wraps up on Wednesday, August 20 with an evening devoted to Soul and Rhythm & Blues.
No tickets or reservations are required, making this the perfect way to soak up some culture in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The programme reaffirms the Mairie’s commitment to making the arts accessible to all, while bringing Monaco’s public spaces to life with rhythm, melody and a shared sense of celebration. Whether your tastes run to flamenco flair, vintage French melodies or smooth soul, the soundtrack of the Monegasque summer is ready and waiting.
