Monaco’s Rainier III Nautical Stadium will officially reopen for the season on Tuesday, May 6 at 9:00, welcoming swimmers and water sports enthusiasts back to its open-air pool. The aquatic complex will once again offer a full schedule of activities including swimming lessons, aquagym, and aquabike sessions.
This year also sees the return of free scuba diving taster sessions in partnership with the Club d’Exploration Sous-Marine de Monaco (CE.S.M.M.). Available to adults and children aged eight and over, the sessions will take place on Wednesdays, June 25, July 16, August 6 and August 27. While the diving itself is free, regular admission fees to the pool still apply.
On Friday, July 25, the stadium will team up with the Princess Charlene Foundation to mark World Drowning Prevention Day, raising awareness around water safety.
The pool will be open until Wednesday, October 8, with all schedules, pricing and course information available via the Mairie de Monaco’s official website at www.mairie.mc.
Please note that as was the case in previous years, the stadium will be closed during the Grand Prix from Monday, May 19 to Monday, May 26 inclusive, and on Wednesday, June 18 for the all-day Splash Party event.
