As the world marked International Women’s Day, CMB Monaco seized the moment to spotlight its push for workplace equality, a cause it calls a cornerstone of its identity. With women making up 49 percent of its 268-strong workforce, the private bank stands out in an industry long ruled by men. This isn’t just talk—19 women hold key management roles, and two sit on the bank’s executive committee, proving parity isn’t just a buzzword here.
“We’re not doing this just to be fair—it’s smart business,” said Francesco Grosoli, the bank’s CEO, his tone brimming with conviction. “Putting women in leadership isn’t a checkbox; it’s a driver of success and a signal we’re moving with the times.” Nathalie Aresi, Head of Human Resources, chimed in with a sharper edge: “Numbers alone don’t cut it. We dig deeper—where are women in our structure? We’re here to lift every talent, no matter their gender.”
The proof’s in the paycheques, too. CMB Monaco has held the Fair-ON-Pay+ certification for years, locking in equal pay across the board. It’s a quiet flex in a sector where wage gaps still linger. From its gleaming headquarters in Monaco, where it’s been a fixture since 1976, the bank serves up bespoke wealth management for the Principality’s residents and a global clientele, while also dabbling in corporate banking and investment ventures.
This Women’s Day, CMB Monaco didn’t just pat itself on the back—it doubled down on building a workplace that’s fair, open, and built to last. For more, hit up www.cmb.mc or reach out to Ida Commin at icommin@cmb.mc.
