In a major step toward enhancing digital security and administrative efficiency, Monaco’s Direction du Développement Économique (DDE) has officially been recognised as a Prestataire de Services de Confiance (PSCo), allowing it to issue qualified electronic signatures and seals. This certification, granted by the Agence Monégasque de Sécurité Numérique (AMSN), ensures that Monaco’s businesses now have access to state-of-the-art digital authentication tools that comply with the highest international security standards.

For businesses registered with the Répertoire du Commerce et de l’Industrie (RCI), this means they can now digitally sign or stamp official documents, ensuring authenticity, integrity, and legal recognition—just as if they had signed or stamped them in person. Whether used for contracts, financial statements, or legal paperwork, these electronic certificates protect against fraud and streamline administrative processes, reinforcing Monaco’s ambition to be a leading digital hub.

This initiative is part of the Principauté’s broader digital transformation strategy, driven by Law No. 1.482 for a Digital Monaco, which aims to modernise services while guaranteeing enhanced cybersecurity. With businesses increasingly relying on digital transactions, the introduction of trusted electronic signatures is expected to boost efficiency, reduce paperwork, and strengthen confidence in digital exchanges.
