For the first time ever, travellers will be able to fly directly between Nice and Florence, thanks to a brand-new route from Air Corsica set to launch on June 27, 2025. The twice-weekly flights, operating on Mondays and Fridays, promise to make travel between the French Riviera and Tuscany more convenient than ever.

Until now, getting from Monaco to Florence required time-consuming connections. However, Air Corsica passengers will now enjoy a direct, stress-free journey—whether they’re heading to Florence for a weekend getaway, a business trip, or an artistic escape in the heart of the Renaissance. “This connection is a first for Nice Airport, as it has never been operated before,” Air Corsica stated in a press release. The airline’s move reflects growing demand for direct routes between Monaco, the south of France, and Italy, and opens new doors for both leisure and business travellers.

Air Corsica has been steadily increasing its presence in Italy since 2022, with successful routes to Rome, Milan, and Olbia. This latest addition strengthens its Nice-based operations and enhances connectivity between Monaco, the Côte d’Azur, Corsica, and Tuscany—four regions deeply linked by history, culture, and tourism. For Corsicans, the new service also provides an easy gateway to Italy, while Italian travellers can now seamlessly connect to Corsica through Air Corsica’s extended network.

The airline has set competitive pricing for the new route, with one-way tickets starting at 99 euros and round-trip fares—including Corsica connections—beginning at 269 euros. Each ticket includes a 23 kg checked bag and an 8 kg cabin bag, making it an accessible option for both weekend trips and extended stays.

Beyond convenience, the new Nice-Florence route is expected to fuel tourism, trade, and cultural exchanges between Monaco and its Mediterranean neighbours. With increasing travel demand across the region, Air Corsica is seizing the opportunity to position itself as a key player in Mediterranean air travel by bridging Nice and Florence for the first time.
