This weekend, the Principality will be transformed into a playground for running enthusiasts with a new edition of the Monaco Run Gramaglia. A sport event that promises to be exceptional thanks to a record number of participants and the charity dimension…

This year’s Monaco Run Gramaglia marked a turning point, with 3,800 runners taking part – a record number never before achieved. This growing success confirms the event’s appeal to running and trail enthusiasts, attracting participants from all walks of life to test their endurance in the Principality. Among these runners are some high-level athletes: Cassandre Beaugrand, the 2024 Olympic triathlon champion and a member of AS Monaco Athlétisme. She is preparing to run an ultra-fast 5 km route through Monaco. She will be up against Likina Amebaw, the event’s record holder with an impressive time of 14 minutes 35 in the previous edition.

A unique solidarity dimension

For the first time, the event will include a solidarity dimension, with race numbers whose proceeds will be donated to four Monegasque associations:

– Monegasque Association for the Protection of Nature

– Pink Ribbon Monaco

– Flavien Foundation

– Monegasque Association Les Enfants de Frankie

The Principality is also welcoming back the Pink Ribbon Walk, an annual event dedicated to raising awareness of early detection of breast cancer and funding research, notably at the Princess Grace Hospital. The walk is organised by the Pink Ribbon association, which has the support of Princess Charlène, who is now Honorary President. The thirteenth Pink Ribbon Walk begins on Sunday 9 February at 10am in Port Hercule, symbolised by its pink attire.

To register, the association is offering a contribution of 30 euros via the website www.pinkribbon.mc or directly on the esplanade of Port Hercule on 8 or 9 February before the start of the race.

This initiative reinforces the community spirit of the race, combining sporting performance and social commitment.
