The fifth special stage of the Rallye Monte-Carlo, scheduled to run from Saint-Léger-les-Mélèzes to La Bâtie-Neuve, was cancelled after spectators were injured on the course. Medical teams were called to assist the injured individuals before the stage could begin, prompting the organisers to postpone and ultimately cancel the stage for safety reasons.

Following the cancellation, drivers proceeded directly to La Bréole, the starting point of SS6, which is set to begin at 11:42 AM. At this time, no further updates have been provided regarding the condition of the injured spectators.

In the overall standings, Elfyn Evans remains in the lead with a narrow eight-tenths advantage over Thierry Neuville and a four-second margin over Sébastien Ogier. Adrien Fourmaux holds fifth place, trailing by 16.6 seconds. In the Rally2 category, Nikolay Gryazin continues to lead, followed by Yohan Rossel.
