With just over three months until the grand opening of Expo 2025 in Osaka, Monaco is putting the finishing touches on its highly anticipated pavilion…
Slated for completion in February, the pavilion is a centrepiece of the Principality’s representation at the Universal Exhibition, showcasing its commitment to environmental protection and innovation.
Located within the Expo grounds, the Monaco Pavilion will provide an immersive and tactile experience for visitors, highlighting the beauty of the oceans, the Principality, and the themes Monaco holds dear. Using cutting-edge technology, including interactive displays and artificial intelligence, the pavilion promises to offer a captivating journey through Monaco’s values and priorities.
Mireille Martini, the pavilion’s Delegate President, shared her enthusiasm for the project. “This pavilion reflects Monaco’s dedication to environmental awareness and cultural exchange,” she said, emphasising its role in promoting the Principality’s global image.
A dedicated team of 13 Monegasque young people, many of whom are learning Japanese, will join 28 locally recruited staff to manage the pavilion. This blend of international and local workers will enrich the visitor experience.
The pavilion will host a pre-opening on April 6, ahead of the official start of Expo 2025 on April 13. Accompanied by a large communication campaign in Monaco, the initiative includes a virtual 3D tour accessible via QR code, enabling a broader audience to explore the pavilion remotely.
As Monaco’s ambassador to the world at this global event, the pavilion underscores the Principality’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration. Expo 2025 runs until October 13, promising six months of engagement and discovery.
