In a bid to manage the increasing demand for parcel deliveries and reduce traffic congestion, Monaco has inaugurated the Goods Reception Point (PAM) on Boulevard du Jardin Exotique. The new logistics hub, spanning approximately 1,500 square meters, is designed to optimise the storage and distribution of parcels and goods across the Principality.

Parcel activity in Monaco has surged, with up to 5,700 parcels processed daily, 30 delivery routes, and 4,200 delivery points. To address this growing demand without further straining the city’s roads, La Poste Monaco, supported by the Prince’s Government, has implemented the PAM. The facility aims to centralise the reception of parcels at the city’s entrance, streamlining their distribution using environmentally friendly methods.

The PAM is capable of handling up to 2,500 parcels daily, with capacity for expansion if operating hours are extended. Its fleet includes 14 electric delivery vehicles, ensuring eco-conscious transportation within Monaco.

In addition to supporting delivery efficiency, the PAM provides convenient services for residents and businesses. A 24/7 locker system enables parcel collection at any time, while a customer service desk operates Monday to Saturday for drop-offs and collections. Specific delivery zones associated with the PAM further enhance the efficiency of distribution operations.

This initiative complements the upcoming La Poste Monaco Sorting Center in the Ilot Pasteur project, reinforcing the Principality’s commitment to sustainable urban logistics. By consolidating deliveries and reducing the number of utility vehicles on city streets, the PAM marks a significant step toward reducing Monaco’s traffic and environmental impact.
