HSH Prince Albert II officially inaugurated the newly appointed Crown Council during a ceremony at the Prince’s Palace on Friday, November 15. The council is chaired by Michel Boeri and includes members Frédéric Sangiorgio, Marie-Pierre Gramaglia, Patricia Husson, Guy Magnan, Jean-Michel Cucchi, and Nathalie Aureglia-Caruso.

During the installation, Prince Albert outlined his expectations for the Crown Council and reiterated its essential role in governance. The Palace indicated, that the sovereign “expressed his expectations with regard to the Crown Council,” and recalled that, “in addition to the specific attributions conferred on him by the constitution and the statutes of the sovereign family, he is called upon to share his opinion on all questions relating to the interests of the State, whether at his request or on the Council’s own initiative.”

The Crown Council serves as a key advisory body to the Prince, with constitutional responsibilities that include reviewing proposed legislation and advising on matters of state.
