The 54th edition of the Œcumenical Kermesse, a cherished Monegasque tradition, will take place on Saturday, December 7, at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille. Founded in 1969 and now presided over by HRH Princess Caroline, this annual fundraising event brings together various parishes and associations to support charitable initiatives across the Principality.

Proceeds from the Kermesse are distributed among its founding members, which include St. Nicolas, St. Vincent de Paul, the Greek Orthodox Church, the Eglise Réformée de Monaco, St. Paul’s Anglican Church, and the British Association of Monaco. Each organisation channels the funds toward good works that benefit the community and beyond.

The event will run from 10:00 to 18:00, offering an array of activities for all ages. Visitors can browse through stalls selling clothing, toys, books in multiple languages, household items, and Christmas decorations. The Kermesse also features snacks, coffee, and a bar, with food available to enjoy on-site.

This year, the event highlights an eco-conscious message, encouraging attendees to embrace recycling, repurposing, and upcycling through their purchases. The day will culminate with a lively tombola, giving participants the chance to win exciting prizes.

Donations of clothing, household items, electronics, books, and toys are welcomed and can be delivered directly to the Chapiteau on Thursday, December 5, and Friday, December 6, between 12:00 and 18:00.
