This Saturday afternoon, Princess Charlene officially launched the 25th edition of the No Finish Line charity race, marking a significant milestone for one of Monaco’s most enduring philanthropic events…

At precisely 2:04 p.m., under the marquee in Fontvieille, the Princess fired the starting pistol, triggering a cascade of confetti and signaling the beginning of the much-anticipated race.

The event, which has become a November tradition in the Principality, supports the Children&Future association, aiding children in need by converting kilometres run or walked into financial donations. Donning her running shoes, Princess Charlene not only served as the event’s patron but also joined the first wave of participants on the circuit. Accompanied by her brother Gareth Wittstock and Minister of State Didier Guillaume, she covered the initial stretch of the 1.3-kilometer course, set against the picturesque gardens of Fontvieille.

At the start of the race, an impressive 11,443 participants had already registered, setting an ambitious tone for this year’s goal: 330,000 kilometres by November 24. Early enthusiasm was palpable as the first thousand runners and walkers quickly accumulated 10,000 kilometres within the first two hours.

Princess Charlene’s presence brought a heightened sense of excitement to the event. She was warmly welcomed by Ariane Favaloro, president of Children&Future, and her involvement underscored the charitable mission at the heart of the race. Over the next eight days, participants will strive to break records while enjoying daily entertainment, including zumba, singing contests, and themed evenings.
