A delegation from Monaco’s City Hall will travel to Ostend, Belgium, from Sunday, October 6, to Tuesday, October 8 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the twinning between the two cities, established on January 26, 1964.
The delegation, led by First Deputy Mayor Camille Svara, along with Deputy Mayors Jacques Pastor and Karyn Ardisson Salopek, and Councillor Nathalie Vaccarezza, will participate in several official events, including a reception at Ostend City Hall, where they will sign the guest book.
This visit marks Monaco’s first official trip to Ostend since 2008 and will allow Monaco’s representatives to see the transformations in the Belgian city. The visit follows the participation of Ostend officials, Silke Beirens and Maxime Donck, in the Sainte-Dévote festivities in Monaco last January.
