Her Excellency Valérie Bruell-Melchior, Ambassador of Monaco, officially presented her Letters of Credence to Emmanuel Macron, Co-Prince of Andorra, at the Élysée Palace on Tuesday, September 17. This marks her accreditation as Monaco’s Ambassador to the Principality of Andorra, with residence in France.
The formal ceremony took place in the presence of Patrick Strzoda, Representative of the French Co-Prince, and Imma Tor Faus, Andorra’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. During the event, Ambassador Bruell-Melchior reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening the ties between Monaco and Andorra, which were further solidified by the recent opening of Monaco’s first consulate in Andorra in September 2024.
A separate ceremony to present her credentials to Archbishop Joan Enric Vives i Sicília, the Episcopal Co-Prince of Andorra, will be scheduled at a later date.
