With the Tour de France now officially in our rear view mirrors, the Automobile Club de Monaco has revealed the route and timetable of the upcoming Monte-Carlo Rally.
The 93rd edition of the Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo, set to be the opening round of the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), promises to challenge both professional drivers and amateurs with its demanding route. The rally kicks off with reconnaissance from January 20-22, followed by a shakedown session on January 22 in Gap, a stage town reintroduced in 2024.
The official start is on January 23 at 14:30 from Place du Casino in Monaco, followed by a 52.23 km night-time stage with three special stages: Digne-les-Bains/Chaudon-Norante, Esparron/Oze, and Avançon/Notre-Dame-du-Laus. The second day, January 24, covers 107.38 km with three stages repeated twice in Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
However, the third day, January 25, is the toughest, with 132.10 km of racing in the Drôme, including stages like La Motte-Chalancon/Saint-Nazaire-le-Désert and the new Aucelon/Recoubeau-Jansac.
The rally concludes on January 26 with three stages between Gap and Monaco, totalling 51.88 km. The final Power Stage, La Bollène-Vésubie/Peïra-Cava, leads to the prize-giving ceremony at Place du Casino at 16:15.
