Nearly one hundred students from Collège Charles III, the François D’Assise-Nicolas Barré Institution, and Ecole de la Condamine gathered on the Larvotto beach for the Princess Charlene Foundation’s Water Safety Day on Tuesday, June 18. Since its inception in 2014, this annual event has educated children about the risks of drowning while promoting water safety.
Led by Pierre Frolla, a four-time freediving world record holder and Ambassador of the Foundation, along with his team from the Monegasque Academy of the Sea, the workshops covered a range of life-saving techniques. The Monegasque Red Cross provided additional support, ensuring comprehensive first aid training.
The event was further enriched by the participation of champions in lifesaving sports and Monegasque Olympic athletes, who served as instructors on the day.
