On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day on Friday, March 8, the Minister of State hosted a lunch in the presence of Maître Louise Cordeau, President of the Quebec Status of Women Council and guest of honour of the Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Women’s Rights as part of International Women’s Day.
His Excellency Pierre Dartout said that Quebec has long been at the forefront in the matter of equality between men and women and that the model supported by Quebec society was a a true source of inspiration for the world.
He also underlined that in the Principality, too, the subject of women’s rights constituted a major issue. Finally, he expressed his satisfaction at seeing the vitality of what he termed the associative fabric, State services and Monegasque institutions all mobilszed and united around the cause of women to celebrate on March 8, 2024, Monaco’s commitment to women’s rights.
