Carmen – Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo
This passionate and feisty Carmen, reinvented by Johan Inger has received standing ovations throughout the world and earned the Swedish choreographer a “Benois de la Danse” in 2016. To meet the challenge of taking on a legend so rooted in Spanish culture, Johan Inger chose to reveal his heroine through the eyes of a child, enveloping the obscure swirls of seduction and violence in mystery. With the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, direction Manuel COVES.

Vanitas Xmas – Exhibition
Celebrate the beggining of the year with a stunning exhibition! Fréderique de Mortain brings Vanitas to life through curated objects, collages, material inserts, charms, jewellery, and some unexpected surprises. Fragile Polar Worlds – Greg Lecoeur
From the floating sea ice and polar bears of the north, to the emperor penguins and vast ice deserts of the south, this exhibition features the iconic photography of Greg Lecoeur, portraying the incredible biodiversity to be found in the Arctic and Antarctic regions, both essential to the health and balance of our planet. Against a backdrop of breathtaking giant decors, “Fragile Polar Worlds” aims to document, inspire, and raise awareness about the important of protecting our oceans. Christmas Village, Snowballs & Festive Carousel ends Festive season
Last day for the giant snowballs illustrating scenes from Charles Dickens’ famous fairytale. Soak up the spirit of generosity, and goodwill to all men! You’ll also find the legendary Christmas Carousel and Chalet in the Jardin des Boulingrins gardens opposite the Casino de Monte-Carlo. The perfect place for an enchanting time with all the family! Le Prince au cœur du cirque – Exhibition
See a vast treasure trove of circus exhibits, including still photographs, moving picture footage, artists’ costumes, previously unseen documents, posters, and more, as part of celebrations marking the centenary of Prince Rainier III. Curated by HSH Princess Stéphanie and Dr Alain Frère, the scenography and curatorship were guided by the words of Prince Rainier III, who said that “the circus is experienced with the senses and that it is above all a living art”. His writings and testimonies accompany the visitor on a journey combining video extracts from emblematic acts, unpublished documents from the Palais de Monaco Archives, numerous costumes from the collection of Dr Alain Frère and works brought together for the first time , in order to experience and discover the history of the most prestigious Festival in the circus world. December Light – Exhibition
La Società delle Api (The Bee Society) hosts the first solo exhibition in Monaco by Yu Nishimura. With the title December Light, Yu Nishimura’s paintings depict an everyday environment with his specific ability to bring out the light that emanates from the surfaces.

The Prince and the Mediterranean – Exhibition
As part of commemorations marking the centenary of Prince Rainier III (1923-2023), the Oceanographic Museum presents its new permanent exhibition, “The Prince and the Mediterranean”. Visitors to the exhibition, the Oceanographic Institute’s tribute to the unshakeable connection between Princer Rainier III and the ocean, and the Mediterranean Sea in particular, will step aboard his ship, Deo Juvante II. Guided by the voice of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie, they will navigate through four fascinating spaces, each exploring a different facet of the Prince and his passion for all things aquatic. Pier Paolo Calzolari – Casa ideale – Exhibition
Pier Paolo Calzolari is known for the formal originality of a multidisciplinary art (painting, sculpture, but also performances understood in the sense of “acts of passion”), often using organic materials such as tobacco leaves, fire, or frost to create “installation pieces” that push the boundaries of contemporary art. This retrospective exhibition, entitled “Casa ideale”, is a rare opportunity to discover the world of an artist who has left his mark on the history of art through a mostly unconventional approach to the various artistic forms. Discover an immersive and interactive experience! Take on the role of a roving reporter and set off on a mission to explore the Polar regions! This new exhibition includes five thematic areas spread over two levels. Learn about the Poles and their wildlife, and the men and women who populate and explore them. Fascinating objects and documents, digital content and immersive devices come together to create a 360° experience. The great voyage can begin! Patrick O’Sullivan Greene will give a lecture at the Princess Grace Irish Library in Monaco. Patrick’s new book ‘Revolution at the Waldorf: America and the Irish War of Independence’ tells the real history of the money, power and political battles that defined Irish-America for a generation.
