From October 29 to November 2, 2023, the Club des Chefs des Chefs, an exclusive group composed of personal chefs of Heads of State or Government, founded by Gilles Bragard in 1977, held its 46th annual summit in Washington DC.
Under the presidency of Christian Garcia, Executive Chef of HSH Prince Albert II, the event was held in collaboration with the Embassy of Monaco in the United States and with the support of the Ambassadors of France and Italy, who hosted a reception in their honour in their respective Residences.
During their stay, the Chefs prepared meals for the homeless with the “DC Central team Kitchen”, a non-profit organisation fighting hunger and poverty. At the invitation of the First Lady of the United States, the Chefs of Chefs took part in a luncheon at the White House, prepared by Executive Chef Cristeta Comerford, were able to visit the Pentagon and participate in a closing reception.
The Chefs des Chefs handed over to the Ambassador Monaco, HE Mrs Maguy Maccario-Doyle, a traditional Chef’s jacket as well as a diploma honorary, thanking her for her initiative in favour of culinary diplomacy.
