The Eagle with Two Heads – The Art of the Cinema

Directed by Jean Cocteau (1947). The screening of this restored film will take place in the presence of the partners who made it possible. Adapting his own play for the screen, Cocteau draws on all his mastery of the cinematic art to give this “French tragedy” a fantastical colour. Monaco d’Autrefois – the Last Day of the Exhibition

This exhibition presents a selection of antique photographs of the Principality, lovingly restored and colorised by Jean-Pierre Debernardi from glass photography plates handed down by his grandfather Jean Debernardi, himself a keen photographer. STOMP – Show

After more than 12,000 performances and a triumphant success seen by over 15 million spectators around the world, STOMP is coming to Monaco for the first time. The finger-snapping, pot and pan-clanging, colliding-cart show breaks the mould. With a frenetic rhythm, the troupe display incredible creative powers in a show that has become a cult classic, featuring an irresistible cocktail of percussion, dancing, theatre and comedy, with a heady soundtrack inspired by the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

54th International Flower-Arranging Competition

Under the High Patronage of HSH the Sovereign Prince and the Presidency of HRH the Princess of Hanover, the theme of the 54th International Flower-Arranging Competition will be “The Circus Festival”, in tribute to Prince Rainier III in this centenary year. Organised by the Garden Club de Monaco. Participants from all over Europe are expected to attend, demonstrating all their powers of imagination with wonderful floral compositions as works of art. Faada Freddy – Concert

After a long period in between recordings, during which he performed nearly 300 concerts around the world, Senegalese singer Faada Freddy is back with his EP “Tables will turn”. The “street dandy” is as faithful as ever to his musical style, and the use of his voice and body to imitate sounds and rhythms, conveying his own philosophy: “When all your dreams seem to dissolve in a cloud of confusion, remember it’s just a passing storm”. One Planet One Ocean – Exhibition

Artist Laure Hatchuel Becker is back at ESPACE 22 with an exhibition that will take visitors to the far corners of our planet. One Ocean One Planet features a collection of colourful works produced using the artist’s own personal technique. Highlighting the strength of nature and animals, and the majestic link between terrestrial and marine life, her pieces include Tigers, Cheetah and Panther, Rhinoceros, and also Corals, Sea Turtles and Seahorses. “My artistic quest is to emotionally reconnect man with nature and his deeply animal nature.” From Monday, September 18 to Monday, October 2 from 10:00 to 19:00 at the Espace 22.


Polar Mission – Exhibition

Discover an immersive and interactive experience! Take on the role of a roving reporter and set off on a mission to explore the Polar regions! This new exhibition includes five thematic areas spread over two levels. Learn about the Poles and their wildlife, and the men and women who populate and explore them. Fascinating objects and documents, digital content and immersive devices come together to create a 360° experience. The great voyage can begin! Santo Sospir – Mauro Restiffe / Jean Cocteau – Exhibition

The Nouveau Musée National de Monaco presents Santo Sospir, an exhibition by the artist Mauro Restiffe, inspired by the house occupied and decorated by Jean Cocteau in Saint-Jean Cap-Ferrat between 1950 and 1962. This silent conversation, orchestrated by Restiffe in the Villa Sauber, is like a cinematographic montage that alternates long shots and close-ups, monumental prints and smaller formats, fostering an embodied vision of the tattooed villa, where a (faceless) self-portrait of the author appears. Rainier III, The Builder Prince – Exhibition

Over his 56-year reign, HSH Prince Rainier III profoundly shaped the Principality into the modern Monaco that we now know, rightly earning the nickname ‘the Builder Prince’. In line with the centenary celebrations of the birth of the Sovereign, an exhibition shining a light on just how much the former Prince permanently transformed the face of his state featuring models, plans, photographs and more that have never been shown before is available to the public until Sunday, December 31 at the Salle d’Exposition du Quai Antoine Ier.
