Marnie – Tout l’Art du Cinema

The Audiovisual Institute of Monaco presents the screening of the 1964 film No Springtime for Marnie. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, the American psychological thriller also features Sean Connery and Diane Baker.

The screening will begin at 20:00 on Tuesday, April 4 in the Théâtre des Variétés, and the film will play in English with French subtitles.

Grigory Sokolov recital – OPMC

The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra presents a Grigory Sokolov solo recital at the Auditorium Rainier III, from 20:00 on Wednesday, April 5.

The Russian pianist is among the most esteemed of living pianists, with a repertoire spanning composers from the Baroque period. On this occasion, Sokolov will perform the works of Purcell and Mozart.

Snow White Sees Red – French Theatre

Snow White Sees Red will feature at the Théâtre des Muses on three dates this week. A fun take on the classic fairytale allows the little ones to discover the story, while giving the adults a laugh.

Snow White will see red from 16:30 on Wednesday, April 5, from 14:30 and 16:30 on Saturday, April 8 and from 11:00 on Sunday, April 9.

88 Times Infinity – French theatre

The Princess Grace Theatre presents 88 Times Infinity. Written by Isabelle Le Nouvel and directed by Jérémie Lippmann, with Niels Arestrup and François Berléand, the story follows two half-brothers, who reunite thirteen years after falling out over a romantic rivalry.

Leçon de Ténèbres concert

Soprano Zeynep Castel-Branco will be performing the works of Belgian composer Joseph-Hector Fiocco, accompanied by organist Lara Castiglione.

The concert will commence at 19:00 on Friday, April 7 in the Reformed Church on 7 rue Louis Notari in Monaco.

Dolto – French Theatre

The French theatre production Dolto will be performed on four occasions this week at the Théâtre des Muses. Written and staged by Eric Bu, the story follows eight year-old François in Paris in 1916. The young girl aspires to become a doctor one day, but nobody takes her seriously.

In the heart of Romanticism – OPMC

The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra presents a special symphonic concert, featuring conductor and piano soloist Christian Zacharias and the works of Brahms and Schumann

The concert will commence at 18:00 in the Auditorium Rainier III on Sunday, April 9, following a presentation of the works by André Peyrègne at 17:00.

The World We Make– Amy Sherald Exhibition

Since March 2018, when Houser & Wirth announced exclusive worldwide representation of American artist Amy Sherald, four major exhibitions took place: in New York, Los Angeles, last year in London – her first solo show in Europe and from the end of January this year a selection of new and monumental works by Amy Sherald is brought to Monaco.
