Picture People is celebrating International Human Rights Day by announcing the winner of its photography competition on the themes of ‘Embrace our Differences’, Environment Champions’, and ‘Living with Dignity.’
Monaco’s Nick Danziger, known to many of our readers and co-director of the charity, told us he was amazed by the range of countries and images that were entered in to the competition. “We had images from Namibia, Congo and Indonesia, but also from people working on Children in Armed Conflict at the UN in New York, several Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar Bangladesh and a film director in Paris.
Nick, went on to say, “Personally, I would have loved to have taken Shared Patil from India’s winning picture in the ‘Living with Dignity’ category, it’s intimate, joyful and full of life.”
