Minister of Social Affairs and Health Christophe Robino met representatives of the hotel and catering sector on Friday to discuss the establishment of a salary scale.
There has been no framework for salary scales in the sector since 1999.
The plan on the table is to set up a table of minimum wages identical to those adopted recently in France.

Further discussions will also take place on improving commuting conditions, the Government said.
