The UK’s new ambassador to France and Monaco was in the Principality on Tuesday to present her credentials to HSH Prince Albert.

Menna Rawlings said she was very proud to be the first female UK ambassador to take up the post.

Joining the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1989, H.E. Mrs Rawlings was appointed Consul General in Washington DC in 2008, then Director General of Economic Affairs and Global Affairs at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

“The United Kingdom and Monaco will continue to work together for their common interests,” she said.
