The benchmark incidence rate for coronavirus infections in the Principality fell to 393 per 100,000 population on Sunday, May 8. A week earlier it had been 433.
The number of new cases on Monday, May 9, was 21, while 30 residents were declared fully-recovered. This took the number of residents with mild symptoms recovering at home down to 84.
Good news, too, from Princess Grace Hospital, where the number of patients being treated for coronavirus symptoms fell below 10, to just eight, including four residents.
