On Wednesday morning, February 23, ClubSwan 125 Skorpios, helmed by Monaco resident Dmitry Rybolovlev, took line honours as the first monohull at the 13th RORC Caribbean 600 race. Skorpios is attached to Monaco Yacht Club and has MON001 number on its sail.

Seventy-four teams with over 700 sailors from 32 countries started the 13th edition of the race on Monday. February 21, in Antigua.

The Royal Ocean Racing Club’s 600-mile race around 11 Caribbean islands had a spectacular start with 15 knots of wind from the northeast gusting up to 20 knots. The race started from Fort Charlotte, English Harbour, Antigua and headed north as far as St Martin and south to Guadeloupe taking in Barbuda, Nevis, St Kitts, Saba and St Barth’s.
