The Principality of Monaco has signed an Agreement which covers the years 2022-2023 and foresees a voluntary contribution of €240,000 to support a number of Council of Europe initiatives.

The areas supported include combating violence against women and children in Morocco and in Tunisia, the Action Plan on protecting vulnerable persons in the context of migration and asylum in Europe (2021-2025), the European Court of Human Rights, and the Bern Convention.

The agreement was signed on Friday, January 28, 2022, by Ambassador Rémi Mortier, Permanent Representative of Monaco to the Council of Europe (left), and by Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.
