Céline Caron-Dagioni, Minister of Infrastructure, Environment and Planning, and Didier Gamerdinger, Minister of Social Affairs and Health, accompanied by representatives of the Lenval Foundation and the Department of Health, on Monday visited the construction site of the future Franco-Monegasque day care centre for child psychiatry.

Located in Beausoleil, the building will have a capacity of 65 people (30 care staff and 35 children/adolescents), on a total surface area of 640 m2. It will soon enable 17 students schooled in Monaco to be monitored and supervised by specialised teams in a dedicated site, close to the Principality.

The project required a complete renovation of the existing premises, as well as the strengthening of the building itself. The facades have also been modified, giving an image that is both contemporary and integrated into the surrounding urban context. The work, led by the Principality of Monaco, is nearing completion. The centre will welcome students from the start of the school year in September 2022.
