In view of the favourable opinion issued by the Monegasque National Vaccination Committee, children aged 5 to 11 at risk of severe forms of Covid-19 as well as those living in the entourage of an immunocompromised person can now be vaccinated, the Monaco Government announced on Wednesday evening. France took the same step on Monday.

“The vaccination is free and voluntary, and will be carried out at the National Vaccination Center in Auditorium Rainier III, in the presence of a legal representative of the child, on presentation of a medical prescription from a pediatrician and parental authorisation for vaccination. The vaccine will be administered at the end of a pre-vaccination pediatric medical consultation that will take place at the vaccination centre<“ the Government said.

The legal representatives concerned are invited to indicate their intention to vaccinate child from the Covid19 call center at 92.05.55.00, reachable 7 days a week from 08:00 to 20:00. or in online on the website https://vaccination-covid19.gouv.mc.
