The Principality participated in the eighth conference of parties to the International Convention against Doping in Sport which took place at the headquarters of UNESCO during the last week of October.
Debates focused in particular on the governance of the fight against doping. Since the last conference, the Monegasque Government has created a national anti-doping platform involving all the Monegasque players concerned.
Pharmacists have integrated the professions and groups to which the codes of conduct, good practices and ethics apply in anti-doping matters and set up a support mechanism for anti-doping research via the UNESCO Chair in Paris.
