The Grande Braderie of the Monegasque Red Cross opened its doors at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille on October 22 and 23 after a year of enforced absence due to the coronavirus health crisis.

The sale was a great success with many visitors who came for bargains. The total profit from the event amounted to almost 100,000 euros, a record. This will be devoted to the many activities carried out by the Red Cross throughout the year.

During the two days 1,250 raffle tickets were sold with a large crowd in attendance before the draw.

On Friday morning, HSH Prince Albert, President of the Monegasque Red Cross, came to the Braderie where he warmly greeted the many volunteers and employees on the stands.

On Saturday, October 23, the “youth workshops” welcomed children whose parents went shopping. The workshops enabled children to learn more about the Red Cross through fun activities. About 55 children participated in these workshops throughout the day.

“The Monegasque Red Cross would like to warmly thank all those who contributed to the success of the 2021 edition as well as the generosity of the public who came to share once again this moment of conviviality. More information: www.croix-rouge.mc
